Entry Requirements

You must hold a Year 10 certificate or equivalent.

Studying online with Forme Education

Balancing study with everyday life can be challenging. Studying online enables you the freedom and flexibility of choosing when, where and what you (need to) study and you can interact with educators by phone, email, and web conferencing during business hours.

Forme Education’s online resources include comprehensive learning content, and Forme Education facilitates a one-hour online workshop every four weeks which you can join live, or access as a recording.

The amount of time spent engaged in study in the online resources will vary from student to student and your level of expertise. Forme Education estimates a minimum of approximately 70 hours for the qualification. Because the resources are available to you 24/7, you can revisit the materials as frequently and in as much detail as you need to over the duration of the units.

Assessment for the units may include case studies, compiling portfolios of evidence, projects, short-answer questions, undertaking practical activities and submission of video and or audio recordings, written assignments and reports and a phone or online ‘competency conversation’ with your assessor.

Forme Education allows you up to 52 weeks to complete your qualification and will monitor your progress to provide support and feedback and ensure you are completing individual units according to your individual training plan.

To give you an idea of how much time you’ll need to allocate to your studies and undertake assessment activities (estimated to be approximately 150 – 200 hours) we recommend you allow approximately 10 – 15 hours a week depending on your existing levels of experience.

Student Resource Requirements

In order to study online with Forme Education, students need access to an internet connection and a PC or Mac.  Delivery of education will include video learning and live Skype sessions and will require a minimum of 4GB of data per month. Please ensure you have sufficient access to these learning resources prior to enrolling.

Recognition of Prior Learning
